The vast majority of students from Colégio Monte Maior who applied to Higher Education secured a place in the first phase of the 2026 National Higher Education Admissions Process, with most gaining admission to their first-choice course. This achievement reinforces the school’s commitment to Academic Achievement, one of the Learning Pillars of International Schools Partnership - ISP. These results represent the culmination of a journey built over many years and reflect the hard work, dedication and ambition of our students, supported closely by their teachers, the school teams and their families. CMM students are now embarking on a wide range of different paths, with particular interest in areas such as Economics and Management, Health and Engineering, among others. Management, Medicine and Aerospace Engineering are among the courses with the highest number of students admitted, alongside options such as Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Nutritional Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Law and Nursing. The destinations chosen also reflect the diversity and ambition of our students, who have gained places at some of the country’s leading Higher Education institutions, including Instituto Superior Técnico, NOVA University Lisbon, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lisbon, ISEG, ISCTE, the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, among many others. Starting Higher Education marks the beginning of a new chapter, but it is also the result of the journey undertaken so far. More than simply preparing students for exams or the university application process, Colégio Monte Maior aims to help them develop the knowledge, independence, confidence and decision-making skills they will need to shape their own futures. To all our students who are now beginning this new chapter, congratulations. We celebrate your achievements and wish you every success in the paths you have chosen to follow.
