On 27 April, Colégio Monte Maior held a LiveX fire drill in partnership with NGR. The main aim of the initiative was to test the school’s evacuation plan, involving students and staff in a practical safety exercise focused on emergency response. During the drill, the school’s internal response teams were also assessed in areas including evacuation, firefighting and first aid. This made it possible to review procedures, response times and coordination between the different teams involved. Activities of this kind play an important role in promoting a culture of safety and prevention within the school community, helping students and staff prepare to act responsibly and effectively in risk situations. Colégio Monte Maior values educational experiences that complement students’ academic development, promoting practical skills, responsibility and active citizenship.
